I got breeding birds in mine already in the first year. All eggs were hatched and all chicks got out. Size is about 170x340x243 mm. It can be scaled down, but then, don't forget to downscale the bolt, hasp and front to. There are two different fronts, one with 32mm entryhole and one with 35mm entryhole. The front is easily opened, to clean it out, if you like or just watch how they're doing. The inside of the front is made so that the chicks easily can climb out. There are holes in the bottom, to let any liquid out. Mount it on the north side of a tree BEFORE mounting the front !
