Bird in Cage ( Quilling style )

Designed to mimic the appearance of intricate paper quilling, this delicate structure boasts fragile and fiddly components that demand precise handling. To assemble the intricate pieces, considerable cleaning up of supporting materials was required. Initially, I employed masking tape to hold parts in place before carefully aligning them and securing them with super glue once they were precisely positioned. A specially designed LED tea light, measuring 37mm in diameter by 45mm high at its base, serves as the foundation for this creative project. However, if a standard LED tea light is not available, I have provided an alternative file called Q Bird Stand Base that can be used instead. Additionally, a file labeled Q Bird Cage Plug offers a solution for those who wish to utilize the cage without the bird attachment. A strategically placed hole at the top of the ball shape enables it to be hung by string or other suitable materials, while two small catches on the hinge section prevent the top from swinging open when the structure is suspended in mid-air. The overall dimensions of this unique piece measure 142mm in height and 90mm in diameter.
