Here's a Summary of the Project: The design is meant to mimic paper quilling, with delicate and intricate components. However, this fragility requires meticulous handling and cleaning up of support material. To hold parts together temporarily, masking tape was used, followed by super glue once the pieces were aligned properly. A LED tea light measuring 37mm in diameter and 45mm high is utilized as the base, but a file called Q Bird Stand Base is also available for those who don't have access to this specific size. Additionally, a file named Q Bird Cage Plug can be used if one only wants to print the cage without the bird. A ball-shaped component on top features a hole that allows it to be hung by string or other means. Two small catches on the hinge section keep the top from opening when the cage is suspended. The overall dimensions of the printed model are 142mm high and 90mm in diameter.
