Bird house for coal or marsh tit 28 mm hole
prusaprinters
For all outdoors designs you need to use PETG! PLA will melt with or without global warming…Print settings: 0.3 draft, gyroid 10% infil. It will nearly max the Prusa MKS3 buildplate (rotate the BH body 90° so it fits) For the front panel place to face on the triangle side. You will need ca 600 g of PETG; the color matters (no white or translucid filament); I use grey. Hole is 28 mm and is 170 mm from the bottom of the bird house. (dimensions for coal tits)There are some venting holes (plastic is not wood).Use 4 M3 hex screws for mounting (12 or 16 mm). To clean the house, you can unscrew the two top screw and rotate the front panel towards you.I plan to print this in the fall for next year's season.
