<h2>The Minimalist Bird House & Feeder</h2> **Designed to fit a standard Bamboo Post - check for pole diameter on file names** A simple design that can be easily installed on any pole, this minimalist bird house and feeder is built to last. Perfect for Bamboo posts, it can also work seamlessly elsewhere. I use it in my garden to provide bird seed for my dog, giving him more animals to "protect" the house from. In my garden, I insert a bamboo post into the dirt and securely glue the bird house onto the top. Halfway down the post, I install the feeder, which should attract birds to the house above. I can't guarantee that birds will want to stay there, though. **All parts are designed to print without supports. 45 degree angles are easily printed by most printers. If you have trouble with a 45 degree overhang then slow down your print and add a small fan to your nozzle area on your printer.** <h3>Materials Needed</h3> - Any plastic to print with will work great, but if you have heavy birds, you might want to use something stronger? Try PLA first and see what happens. - Epoxy or adequate glue is needed to hold the house and feeder to the pole securely. *Optional:* - If you're not using epoxy/glue then use M5 Bolts/Nuts to span the diameter of your parts (45mm diameter estimate). <h3>Installation</h3> **Measure your post size - ** There are three options: 30mm, 35mm, 40mm. Depending on your post size, you can choose from these three options. If you need something else just leave a comment and I'll see what I can do. Just choose the closest diameter version to your post. 5mm should be a find variable when clamping onto a post. **Screw Size - ** This is designed for a 5mm bolt and nut. Add around 6mm of length to the diameter of your post to get the bolt length. **Drainage - ** If you want you can drill a hole or two into the bottom of the seed dish to allow water to drain out. Keep those seeds dry, as birds don't like them sprouting in water. **Post some pictures of it in action!** Enjoy and thanks for printing!
