Bird house
thingiverse
Hi! Today I get to share my design and my history.\nI was 12 years old when a classmate from Italy sat next to me, but just one year later he returned home after his year-long visit ended. We collaborated on making a birdhouse during Tecnología class and when he left us, I got to keep the original house. Twelve years have passed since then and he's come back; I wanted to create something truly special for him, knowing that a 3D printer makes something amazing. I designed the same birdhouse and printed it out for him! Now he has his new home-made birdhouse, along with a unique gift that'll help remind him of old friends.\nI've been using this original design as a storage container to keep small items such as visiting cards and other tiny trinkets. When I uploaded my design to make the 3D print, I intended it for this specific purpose – not thinking anyone else might need it too. But I ended up uploading because perhaps others would like it for their pets or as an enclosure for tiny items.\nThis model hasn't got any holes or screws to fix it; that's up to your discretion about where you place it. Yes, I know I tend to forget the attachments that come with some models when downloading, but in my case, I deliberately didn't include them because sometimes the provided parts are too limiting or even unnecessary for how I plan to use something in different situations.\nHowever, if I put attachments and then later decide to rearrange a download's location or adjust its settings elsewhere, that means you have to go ahead and delete those parts first before replacing them with new ones; this also gives me problems whenever I want to move some downloaded design into another context without getting confused by preinstalled hardware or parts from prior uploads.
