bird food shelter

I fashioned a makeshift bird feeder from a standard 2L bottle by cutting off its bottom and securing the printed cap inside with 2-sided tape. Next, I crafted a double hook from an electric wire measuring approximately 8cm and inserted it through the lid of the bottle after drilling a small hole in it. The second hook was bent into shape only after passing the wire through the newly created opening. Whenever I need to change the bird food net, I simply slide it into the bottle. To retrieve the net, I unscrew the lid, grasp it with the hook, and then screw the lid back on - it's as simple as that! The design was carefully optimized to fit within the print limits of my UM2 3D printer, but I did need to scale down the model to 98% in order to successfully print it without any issues.
