prusaprinters
This is a quick model I made for a bird feeder with a screw in lid to keep pests (ie possums) away, while being big enough to allow our Australian birds to use it. This is the first crack at this model so will likely modify as I come up with different ideas.Printing in PLA for the time being. First issue is the amount of overhang on the base. I will be fixing this with a chamfer rather than fillet, but in the meantime, I just printed with support around that area. I am using Cura with Cheps ultrafast 5.0 profile, and print time with support is 3.5hrs for the base, or 2.5hrs without support. Will post pics when finished. Once I have a version I am happy with, I will swap to PETG or ASA I think.
