I accidentally broke the curved hook on one of our bird feeders that resembles a rugby ball. To replace it, I came up with this alternative design which securely attaches by turning it clockwise. However, if you're unsure about its stability, you can reinforce it with some glue and then fill the feeder through its bottom opening.
