After attaching a sturdy 2-liter bottle bird feeder and allowing it to hang for a full day, the metal loop snapped, indicating that the original design had failed under the weight of the container. To prevent such failures in the future, I engineered a robust new loop that can withstand even excessive loads on its hook.
