My Attempt at a Soda Bottle Bird Feeder, Ideal for Smaller Birds. This Project Features Four Key Design Elements: 1. The Upper Section Includes a Waterproof Roof to Prevent Rain from Entering the Feeder and Keeping the Seed Dry. 2. A Strategically Placed Gap Between the Roof and Feeder Ensures Larger Birds Like Doves Are Kept at Bay, Allowing Smaller Birds to Thrive - a Common Problem with Previous Models. 3. The Spill Plate Effectively Prevents Weavers from Simply Dumping All the Seed onto the Ground, Ensuring a More Efficient Feeding Experience. 4. The Roof Section is Designed with Soda Bottle Threads on Both Ends, Enabling Easy Disassembly and Replacement with a Second Cut Soda Bottle Used as a Refilling Funnel.
