Pole Mounted Bird Feeder A perfect addition for any urban office, this bird feeder doubles as a hipster beer feeder, making it a great conversation starter. Designed to fit standard bamboo posts, this simple design can be easily installed on any pole, making it a versatile option for gardeners and non-gardeners alike. While it's built for bamboo posts, it can also work well with other types of poles. In my garden, I installed the feeder halfway down the post, which should attract birds to the birdhouse above. I used a bamboo post and glued a bird house onto the top, creating a charming setup that brings wildlife right into my backyard. To assemble this feeder, you'll need: * Any plastic to print with - most plastics work great, but if you have heavy birds, consider using something stronger * 1 x 6mm bolt/nut: choose a length equal to your post diameter plus 6-8mm (US Imperial is 1/4 inch) To install the feeder: 1. Measure your post size - there are three options: 30mm, 35mm, and 40mm 2. Choose the closest diameter version to your post size 3. Add around 5mm of length to the diameter of your post to get the bolt length Optional features include drilling a hole or two into the bottom of the dish for drainage, keeping those seeds dry.
