I've updated this design for a standard UK plastic bottle (38mm). I've also included an STL file for a printable bottle cap that I used to test the thread before merging it with the main model. The perch has been extended significantly, as I think it looks better that way and may be suitable for slightly larger birds. This print is very easy. I used wood PLA, but any material should work. The overhangs don't require supports, although you may get some stringing in the thread. A stiff brush can easily remove this. The Blender file is included, so feel free to remix it.
