I was thrilled by the concept of these bird feeders - they're exactly what I needed: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:359618! However, I found that model too massive and intricate to fit within my printer's capabilities. That's why I took matters into my own hands and created a new model based on "Bird Feeder 4.0" from printednest. This project is not a remake of the original - it's an all-new take on this fantastic idea! The design comprises five interconnected parts, held firmly in place by hot glue. To assemble them seamlessly, I relied heavily on 'birdfeeder_half.stl' file. Printed twice, and supported judiciously, even the most critical top portion came out flawless. Don't risk it like I did - invest some extra time and add support to your print; your model will thank you!
