Bird Feeder
thingiverse
I absolutely love the unique raindrop birdhouse design, which was born out of frustration with a failed print attempt due to a depleted filament roll. Drawing inspiration from this mishap, I conceived the idea of creating a bird feeder in the same distinctive shape. Here's the result. A standard jar of bird-peanut butter fits snugly inside, as do some cans, showcasing the versatility of the design. However, I noticed that birds often have trouble with the free-hanging nest, which tends to swing when they land on it. To address this issue, I also designed a wall-mounted alternative for the feeder. Now, users can choose between the original drop-back and the wall-mounted version, both of which fit seamlessly onto the front of the birdhouse.
