Bird Feeder
thingiverse
It's a bird feeder design that calls for printing both the top and the bottom sections. Start by obtaining some 1/4 x 1/4 mesh material to insert between them, as we opted for approximately 12-inch x 14-inch mesh dimensions in our version, but you can choose any size you prefer. The feeding hole measures 4 inches in diameter. So far, the squirrels have taken a liking to it, and the birds are benefiting from it too; however, our squirrels are going wild for the seeds. To assemble it, simply use a piece of wire to hold the two parts together, and add a piece of chain at the top, making it easy to open and fill the feeder as needed. For printing, the top required supports due to its design, but we found that using an 0.8mm nozzle allowed for faster prints without needing any support structures for the bottom section.
