Bird Cage Pi Zero Case

Bird Cage Pi Zero Case

thingiverse

Here's a case for a Pi Zero to fill a VERY specific need. We have a little hedgehog, and I use the amazing PiKrellCam package on a Pi Zero to keep an eye on her with an IR-enabled camera board. This lets us monitor her habits and whether any issues come up overnight, since she's nocturnal (and don't worry, we also check on her constantly during the day in person, this just keeps an eye out for us while we're sleeping). The Pi sandwiches in between the two case layers with a few M2.5 bolts, and is designed to zip-tie to the inside of the cage bars underneath the camera board, which sits in a separate printed enclosure. Since our Quaker Parrot likes to hang out on top of the hedgehog enclosure, all of the vents and other openings are protected from falling seed husks, poo, etc. Note: At one time I had to remove the files and post a warning that the parts didn't fit properly. That issue has now been resolved, and these exact files printed and fit perfectly for me.
