Suet ball holder for the Bird Buddy smart bird feeder. Inspired by the official version sold by Bird Buddy. Print the two halves and snap them together with your suet ball inside, just like the official one. **V2** - Jan 14, 2023: - Through-hole instead of threaded post (use with M5 bolt) - More evenly-spaced ribs for better seed access - More rounded corners I used the V1 design for a couple weeks before the birbs got too aggro with it and the post broke off. After that, I realized an M5 was the way to go. V1 files are still available but I would not recommend them. Be forewarned, this requires a lot of support material and you will need to be careful removing it so as not to damage the holder itself. You also may find the tolerance to be too tight or too loose depending on your printer. Such is the nature of snap-fit parts. If it doesn't stay together, try reprinting the top half slightly smaller or larger. Note: The V1 screw post is extra long to allow fitting through a perch. You may want to shorten it if you aren't using a perch.
