Bird bath - pole-attached.

This bird bath sits atop a pole positioned alongside the bird feeders. I couldn't have placed it in a better location - on the deck, raccoons and skunks would muddy it, while placing it on the grass would damage the lawn. So, up went the pole. Initially, I attempted to use a small glass flower-shaped one from Canadian Tire, which came with its own pole, approximately 3 feet high. Unfortunately, the bowl cracked, and I discarded both the pole and the rest of the unit. This box-like contraption wraps around a 1/2-inch diameter pole stick. It can be secured in place using zip-ties or a locking clamp. From underneath, additional support is essential to prevent it from sliding down the pole. It holds half a gallon of water and receives minimal splashing. However, I discovered that it's slightly too deep for birds to comfortably dip into its waters. Despite this, they still come to drink from it.
