Bird Barn

Bird Barn

thingiverse

Not a fancy birdhouse in Victorian style, just a simple home for our feathered friends. The house is printed upside down from the bottom up. The roof is printed standing at the side with added support, because the internal beam stops 5mm short of the print bed. This small support area requires minimal material. Print with a low infill to create thermal insulation. Attach it securely to a tree or building using a metal strip with three holes. The roof can be easily removed for cleaning with one small screw. The bottom features some drain holes, ensuring that our feathered friends don't get wet. These tiny holes provide an essential feature to keep them dry and safe. Open SCAD files are included for easy modification and customization. Print Settings Printer: Wanhaoo i3 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Infill: 20% is ideal. Notes: Support is only required for the roof.
