Bird at Lausanne, Switzerland

myminifactory

This life-sized piece by a skilled artist showcases an abstract bird soaring through the air. Crafted in the 20th century from stone, it now takes center stage in Lausanne's permanent display. A total of roughly 60 photographs were used to capture its intricate details. Acquired and processed by students enrolled in Prof. Mark Pauly's Digital 3D Geometry Course at EPFL's School of Computer and Communication Sciences in Switzerland, this dataset is a testament to their hard work.
