Discovered in Watauga County, North Carolina in 1994 by Margot Birckhead. A Clovis Point from the Pleistocene era is made of black Chert found in the Knox formation. Weight: 5 point one grams Length: forty-one point thirty-six millimeters Width: nineteen point eighty-one millimeters Thickness: five point thirteen millimeters The point was submitted for custody to the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians in two thousand sixteen.
