Biqu H2 Mount for Malyan M180, CTC, Flashforge etc. with Bl Touch
thingiverse
I've been upgrading my Malyan M180 to get it printing like a modern printer. Was trying to keep the stock extruders but they weren't able to keep up with a blower fan instead of anemic 4010 axial fans. So I bought the h2 and spend the last couple weeks making it work. Carriage does use 24mm bearings, not the stock ones, they're cheap on amazon. For the remix I added extra mount pounts to the carriage so that it can be added too easily but is still compatible with the stock extruder and other e3d type extruder mounts on here. I had to flip the fan mount and mount the extruder 'backwards' compared to the way its mounted for ender 3 style printers, I also made some clearance for the fan intake due to the fan now facing the 'wrong' way. The BL touch mount is offset 4 mllimeters higher as I use a spring mount, I will add a shorter regular mount if requested. I have printed with this, the v2 files actually work. The blower duct/mount is rough, tinkercad is pretty limiting, so if someone wanted to do something thats less ugly. It does work tho. Live action: https://youtu.be/LzFCpQCrFsg Blower v3 has a new spot for a m3 nut so that the entire thing is much more solid. Slot is a bit adjustable and this is now finally a decent solution. I'm using klipper on a BTT Octopus board, but I also tried the stock MalyanBoard for a while so I have a printer.cfg for a stock m180 if anyone is looking.
