Biqu H2 Fanduct for 5015 fan
thingiverse
This is a remix of a great design from @ibiproductions - for a single 5015 fan only. It addresses an issue of the original design: the mount and the duct are not perfectly aligned and are connected with a M2 screw. The joint was very weak, and there was a high risk of breaking during print fails, where the plastic would start to grab the duct during caret movement. I wasn't able to find a way how to make the joint stronger while still keeping the model in two parts. So I combined them in a single part and added some more stiffness to the mount. As the mount is now printed vertically, there is a limitation to the materials you can print the model with - it should have a good layer adhesion, so ABS would probably be not the best choice. I would suggest going with PETG or CF Nylon. There are two versions: 1) One with 4.5 mm holes for the fan screws so that you can use M3x5x3 heat inserts 2) Another with 2.5 mm holes to screw the fans directly in PS. The model works well if BIQU H2 extruder is fixed to the caret with the screws from the top and from the back, but not from the bottom.
