Biqu H2 Extruder Fan Adapter-35 to 30mm
thingiverse
So, the recommended retraction settings for the H2 are around 0.5mm @ 4mm/s. If I would forget to change Cura's retractions, or was using a new slicer which uses standard 5-6mm @ 40+mm/s settings, I noticed that the small extruder on the H2 would actually get hot. This is not the case when using the recommended retractions however. I decided to make an adapter that would use the small, 30mm fan that comes on a V6 style hotend to cool the extruder so I wouldn't have to worry about it getting hot if I happened to forget to set the right retractions. It came out rather well. I know the airflow slots could be larger and If I go back to work on it I'll size them up but plenty of air blasts out of those slots so I'm certain it's adequate for the task at hand. Not to mention if looks pretty sweet on the H2! :)
