BIQU B1 easy V6 mount
thingiverse
This part allows you to fit a regular non-volcano V6 hotend with a threaded heatsink to your B1 stock hotend easily, only three printed parts required, including new part cooling fan ducts. I've designed this for Trianglelabs threaded V6 heatsink, i cannot guarantee compatibility with other similar parts. I recommend buying the heatsink and a V6 hotend kit, links are included. The nozzle stays in the same place as stock one in X and Y axis, unlike some other designs, so you won't lose build volume (except for few mm in Z axis). When using a BLTouch or a clone, you may need to print a spacer between the mount and the sensor, so it sits slightly lower, since the nozzle tip also sits a bit lower. Also you need to adjust your Z-offset, so your nozzle won't crash the bed. There are two drawbacks in this design: -The hotend fan has to be mounted outside of the hotend casing, and the wire has to be routed outside the casing all the way to the breakout board. -If you use a locking clip for the bowden tube, you need to install the clip before screwing the top cover of hotend into the adaptor. This means that when using the clip you will need to take the top cover off if you detach the bowden tube. The holes for mounting the adapter on the hotend top cover and fan mounting holes have M3 threads, you may need to clean them up with a tap, especially the fan holes, that are printed horizontally. I may later add a version that is designed for threaded inserts. You will need 4x M3x20mm screws for the fan and 4x M3x10mm screw for the top cover. PS: I think there may be better part cooling fan ducts available, but this one will do its job until you find one. Marlin version of this firmware is 2.0.7.2. Only change is this firmware is the thermistor. Both the TFT and motherboard firmware can be downloaded from Luke's github if you want to compile your own: https://github.com/looxonline/Marlin/tree/BIQUB1_ABL_SUPER_RES
