Biplane Glider

Biplane Glider

Biplane version of my wing-in-tension concept for small airfoils. Spica airfoils all. Enjoy. - Cut acetate strips to 130mm (+0/-1) and 79mm (+0/-1) respectively to slip into the wing frames and plane body. - The front hole is for assembly & weighting. - Print patterns for the fuselage will affect it's strength and stiffness. - I recommend printing with a "lines" infill pattern with the model rotated at a 45 degree angle in the plane of the print bed. - If you mate the centre body together, the fuselage becomes flexible about the yaw axis, this could probably be adapted for RC steering.
