The Robot Bipedo is a humanoid robot that stands on two legs like humans do. It was built by Japanese engineers at the Tokyo Institute of Technology and is designed to walk and run like a human being. The robot's creators hope it will one day be able to work in hazardous environments, such as disaster zones or areas with toxic chemicals, where humans might not be able to survive for long periods of time.
