Biped robot Legs

Biped robot Legs

thingiverse

I'm working on a project for a reverse biped leg where the knee bends backwards, drawing inspiration from Mech Warrior Online robots. This robot will primarily utilize standard-sized servos, which I already have in abundance. Each leg will require 12 servos to operate effectively. To control this robot remotely, I plan to use an Arduino Mega paired with a Bluetooth add-on that enables mobile phone connectivity. Please note that this project is still in development. Once I've refined the code for the Arduino and ensured it's stable, I'll upload the code here as well as share a copy on Google Drive. Additionally, I will be integrating a torso with yaw control into the design. The initial prototype was printed using ABS plastic, and the parts were joined together using acetone welding to secure the braces and servo horns in place. However, you can also print the components in PLA and use super glue to assemble them. Further details about this project will be shared as it progresses.
