Title: Design and Development of a Low-Cost, Open-Source Bionic Prosthetic Hand.Designed in Fusion 360. Objective was to be cost effective and open-source by utilizing 3d printing, myo-electrodes, PQ12 linear actuators, Arduino nano, off the shelf hardware (McMaster Carr), and non-proprietary components. The only electrical component necessary that cannot be purchased off the shelf is the power distribution board, the files of which can be sent to PCB manufactures to be made inexpensively. The following still needing to be addressed:-Myo-electrode placement (not included in the model as every patient will need a custom sleeve)-Battery placement-Arduino source code-On/off switch placementI have published these files with hopes of contributing to the options available for those who need a cost-effective, open source prosthesis.
