BioLite CampStove 2+ Heat Probe Cap

This is an end cap for the BioLite CampStove 2+ heat probe. After a number of uses the heat probe, the metal wand inserted into the fire chamber the BioLite stove, gets sooty and this rubs off onto camp gear in your bag. This simple to print plastic part is a cover for the heat probe. The design is simple. It is a shell with 18 mm (0.709") inner diameter and a domed top to prevent it catching on anything. The doming (rounding) on the top also means that the printer will be able to smoothly close the top without need for supports or any poor quality cover over of an open surface. Print vertically with the flat side down. Ideally add skirt and brim to assist adhesion as this is a part with a high aspect ratio. There is no need for supports and the curved dome on the top is such that it should easily close the top of tube nicely. Go for 100% fill as this is a thin walled part. If you are an expert you can also try vase mode for an excellent finish.
