Bio Power Filter Media Box

Bio Power Filter: Original sponge filter media clogged quickly, severely reducing output flow. Frequent rinsing and cleaning became increasingly inefficient. This versatile bio power filter media box allows any type of mechanical filter media to be used. In my setup, I'm utilizing a cost-effective floss material that comes on a roll. Replacing the floss is quick and easy by simply pulling it out. The media box effortlessly drops into place and hangs off the filter baffle. Print Settings Printer: CTC Dual Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.3mm Infill: 10% Post-Printing The bio power filter is installed with floss, allowing for efficient water flow. Alternatively, it can be installed without floss, featuring slots at the bottom to facilitate optimal water circulation. Design Overview I designed this bio power filter using Tinkercad. To ensure easy removal and installation, I made the box slightly smaller than the filter opening. This design consideration also prevents blocked filter media from obstructing water flow to the pump, which could lead to dry running and potentially damage the water pump.
