Bio-hazard Hub
thingiverse
The world can't have too many Filament Hubs...\nIf you're printing in ABS or some exotic filament type, you should label this on the Filament Spool...just to warn others about it.\nWhen printing with ABS, this design is self-explanatory.\nThis design is made for 54mm Diameter x 63mm wide filament spools and 8mm diameter rod\nThe surface finish isn't ideal because I'm still using rafts (for the pointy ends). I hope to have some PrintBite soon...\nPrint Settings\nPrinter Brand: \n RepRap\n \n Printer: \n JG Aurora A3 Prusa I3\n \n Rafts: \n Yes\n \n Supports: \n No\n \n Resolution: \n .2mm\n \n Infill: \n 15%\n \n Notes: \n It's not necessary to use two colors, I just did it for more visual impact.\nYou might want to use a raft so the pointy ends don't curl up. Alternatively, you can get some PrintBite (I've heard it's really good, but haven't tested it yet)\nFor two color printing, I used Cura's plugin 'Pause at Height' to pause the printer after the Bio-hazard symbol and change the filament to black.
