Bins for the multiboard
prusaprinters
Here are some bins with a low front face for the multiboard. The collection of bins are available in widths ranging from 100 mm to 250 mm and in bottom depths of 50 mm or 60 mm. Some of the bins have dividers to get multiple pockets. If you want several of them, it is possible to place them right next to each other.InstallationThe bins are mounted on the multiboard using a customised snap, the bins are screwed to the snap with an 10 -12 mm long M3 screw. This provides a strong and secure attachment. I modified the snaps by removing the top of the insert so that the bins could be placed flush with the multiboard .There are two different versions of the bins, one with countersunk holes and the other with flat holes, which one to use depends on the type of screw you use. I have also made two different versions of the snaps to which the bins will be attached. One threaded for an M3 screw and the other for an M3 nut. I personally prefer the threaded insert. Printing and print settingsIn the model files, the parts are orientated in the direction best suited for printing. For the best results, print the bins lying flat on the bottom and the snaps lying flat on the front. For the bins use e.g. PLA for printing with a layer height of 0.2mm and a nozzle width of 0.4mm or less. A wall thickness of at least 3 lines and an infill of 25% or 100% if you prefer all solid walls. A support structure is recommended. The snap with the M3 thread must be printed with a layer height of 0.12mm in order for the thread to be usable. The inserts for a M3 nut can be printed with a layer height of 0.2mm. Other settings can be: PLA for printing with a nozzle width of 0.4 mm or less. A wall thickness of at least 3 lines and a fill of 25%. A support structure is recommended. Feedback is always a good thing.
