Binary Slide Adder
thingiverse
A clever binary calculator was crafted using D. Moews' innovative program - "A Slide Adder". The downloadable program can be accessed at http://djm.cc/slide-adder-0.03.zip. One of its notable features is the ability to select the number system's base, and in this case, binary 2 was chosen. This machine boasts six digits and will overflow if sums exceed 63. Despite its limitations, it could serve as a valuable teaching tool. A suggested exercise involves adding 7 (binary 111) nine times, resulting in a precise answer of 111111 (decimal 63).
