Binary Roots
thingiverse
A whimsical vase or flower pot, designed for the GrabCAD/Figulo Ceramics challenge, features a four-generation binary tree structure with a two-generation cavity. The images depict a preview render of the ceramics version and a black ABS edition printed using an Up! printer. Despite missing the deadline, the design is shareable, suitable for professional ceramics printers and most home printers as well. To support the designer, consider purchasing the ceramics version from their Shapeways Shop at http://www.shapeways.com/model/621640/BinaryRoots.html. Printing instructions for an Up! printer include a Z Resolution of 0.3mm, base height of 2mm, and part angle of 5mm2.
