First of all, a huge thank you to GaiwainReif for designing the canopy! The original design can be found here - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4300989\r\n\r\nI utilized his canopy, trimmed the front slightly to allow more clearance for wires when panning left and right, and created the brackets for mounting it with screws. The mounting brackets screw down onto the wood plate on the Binary's pod using small self-tapping screws, which have holes that are slightly larger than 3mm for those who need them. I marked and drilled small pilot holes in the wood plate before installing the brackets. The canopy then screws onto the mounts with short M3 screws that will thread into the mounts. I used 8mm screws for this, but it's not crucial as long as they're not too long. I also made a small hole on the top of the canopy for my antenna to stick up through, although the model doesn't have that cut out. I cut it after printing, leaving the model solid so people can just cut what they need or leave it closed depending on their setups.\r\n\r\nTo print the canopy, place the rear edge of it on the bed, nose up, and use a brim for adhesion. The brackets are simple to print flat on the bed. I used PETG for the ones shown, but PLA might also work; however, PETG is more flexible and less brittle, making it a better choice for withstanding hot summer sun.
