Bin Rack

Bin Rack

thingiverse

This model is a rack for common 5" X 2-1/2" covered parts bins (see link below), in a 5 X 2 array. There are rails at the sides of each bay to keep the bins aligned and a full width stop at the back of each bay. There is a small stop at the front of each bay and finger slots to help gripping the bins. NOTE: This is a pretty big print. It took 26+ hours to print and used about 110 meters of filament. I printed it with the back side on the base and "Supports Everywhere" turned on. This produced supports up both sides and the center to support the mid-span and front uprights. If I had it to do over again I'd make the clearances a little larger. The bins fit easily enough but a bit looser would make it easier to get them in and out. Consider scaling the whole thing up by a few percent for getting bins in and out more easily. [EDIT: 0.8 mm shells, 12% infill, 0.25 mm layer height, 0.3 mm nozzle, PLA] Bins: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07C3LP4QB/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
