This saddle mounts directly between some boat bimini brackets and hinges, as well as the top edge of the side windshield. Its primary function is to create an interface between the flat bottom of the bracket or hinge and the curved surface of the windshield. I designed this specific unit to replace a damaged one from my early 90s Sea Ray, but it may fit other models as well.
