Bilinski Dodecahedron, Golden Rhombus, Golden Ratio This incredible Bilinski Dodecahedron features 12 stunning golden rhombi whose diagonals are precisely in line with the renowned golden ratio φ (1.618 ...). Geometrically distinct from the conventional rhombic dodecahedron, this remarkable model boasts rhombi with a diagonal proportion of square root of 2. For months, I searched high and low for this exact design on Thingiverse, but it wasn't until May 4, 2018, that I finally found one - and now I'm excited to share it with you! Designing this intricate model was no easy feat. It all began with a beautifully crafted golden rhombus, which I then used as the foundation for designing the majestic rhombic triacontahedron. After carefully removing two belts from this magnificent structure, I skillfully combined the 12 remaining rhombi to create this unique masterpiece. At first glance, it may appear unusual, but trust me - it's truly captivating once you've navigated through all the mental gymnastics required to appreciate its beauty!
