Bilge Pump Shell for a Mini ROV-- Updated

These parts come together to form a mini-ROV powered by a bilge pump motor, engineered to navigate a tight, dark pipe with precision. Originally designed for the 2020 MATE International ROV Competition, the mini-ROV was deployed from a larger ROV to collect a sample from the end of a pipe in a high-stakes mission. As part of Seal Team Scalyr, our high school robotics team, we aimed to take this robot to the college level and compete with the best. This design is an updated version of last year's model, which can be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3731751. The biggest update for this design was the incorporation of a contra-rotating gear assembly, adapted from RossWorks's file. Last year, the mini-ROV rotated as it navigated the pipe, creating unnecessary movement. With the contra-rotating propellers in place, each one spins in the opposite direction, effectively cancelling out any rotational movement and allowing for smoother navigation. A bilge pump motor fits snugly inside the design, while an AquaVu fishing camera is positioned at the top, looking down with crystal-clear vision.
