To attach a chain to this design, you will need to add a ring on the 5mm diameter hole. We recommend using the updated thick version for optimal results. If you're interested in calculating the metal weight, here are some formulas: * Sterling Silver: Volume (cubic cm) x 7 = sterling silver weight (grams) * Pure Gold: Volume (cubic cm) x 19.32 = gold weight (grams) This design has been thoroughly tested for 1-2 mm thickness in Netfabb and meshmixer, and is hollow from the backside to minimize material usage. However, we must emphasize that you should have a good understanding of 3D printing before making a purchase. You will need to import the files into your preferred software, align them, add support structures, and more. The file has been successfully checked for errors in Autodesk Meshmixer and NETFABB, including watertightness, flipped faces, holes, non-manifold faces, and more.
