My Salsa El Mariachi does not feature bosses for a bottle cage on the down tube (35mm). I'm using bottle cages with standard 64mm distance between the mounting holes. Printed the cage mount with PETG so it won't melt when you really need the third bottle :-) Place two M5 hex nuts in the pockets, put some old inner tube under the adapter to protect the frame and be careful not to use too long screws, or you'll screw up your frame.
