Bike Trainer Wall Mount
thingiverse
I've found great use in the Sawhorse hooks, which remains strong to this day, so I designed a wall bracket to keep the Bike Trainer out of the way too. The dimensions of the round bar on the trainer measure about 2 inches/50mm and the rubber ends are roughly 2-3/4 inches/70mm. I've included the FreeCAD file for you to modify or improve as you see fit. Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator 2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .3 Infill: 35% Notes: I printed these in PLA with three walls and 35% infill to achieve strength and durability. Printing them flat will be fine, even without support, as the holes should come out well. I've used chamfers for edges and screw holes which should provide overhang angles comfortably free of support needs for most cases. Otherwise, add the support – it's only needed for the screw holes anyway.
