Bike Ski, Strap-Mounted Ski for Bike Tires (sized for 26", 27," or 29") Print off two to capture your tire on the ski. The ski can be any ordinary ski cut down or kids skis - whatever floats your boat. MAKE SURE IT IS A SOLID PRINT WITH NO DELAMINATION OR OTHER DEFECTS!!! Mount by screwing platforms to the ski back to back. Ensure screws aren't too long, as they will protrude through (pre-drill so it doesn't spit core & adding a little wood glue to each hole helps a ton). Wood screws work best. Print from strong material; PLA probably won't cut it - ABS should work okay. Position the ski with the tip out a little. Drill a hole in the tip and mount a bungee to it up to bars or something to keep the tip from nosing over if you catch air (this would result in a little swearing, I think). Insert the tire on the ski mounts, strap it in place, and give her a whirl. This is probably not the safest thing in the world. Fun - but not safe. WEAR A HELMET!!!
