Air Scoops turn bicycle wheels into kinetic art pieces by attaching 10-20 of these scoops along the rim's edge without a tire. This creates a water-wheel type project when the wheel is set horizontally. A decent breeze should keep the wheel spinning. Note, the 4mm hole in the bottom remains un-threaded until printing is complete. After that, I use a tap to create an M5 thread for bolting this scoop to the rim, which also requires a hole for the bolt to pass through. These scoops are designed specifically for clincher style bicycle rims and typically one scoop is placed between each spoke or every other spoke.
