I'm repairing my old Mission Momentum Aluminum BMX Platform pedals, which I got with my 2012 Kink Gap XL bike. To take them apart for maintenance or repair, you have to remove the bearing cap first. Simply drill a hole in it and use needle-nose pliers to pull it out. If not, dirt and grime will get all over the greased bearings when cleaning them.
