Bike lock holder

Bike lock holder

thingiverse

A mounting system for securing a bicycle lock to the frame. The lock remains firmly attached until it's swung around 90 degrees, at which point it can be removed without any catch or release mechanism in place. This design allows for some slight movement of the lock but not enough to cause an issue. To assemble this mount, you'll need a small M4x60mm bolt inserted through the top hole to secure both parts together. Additionally, a shorter bolt is required through the bottom hole to stabilize the underneath portion. For added protection, consider applying a thin strip of rubber or rolled-up tape to the underside to prevent scratches on the frame. Keep in mind that bike locks and frames can vary significantly in design, so it may be necessary to make adjustments to this model (available as a Blender file attachment) for optimal compatibility. **Print Settings:** * Printer: Rigidbot * Rafts: No * Supports: Yes * Resolution: 0.3mm * Infill: 20% * Notes: The infill should be reasonably dense due to the weight of bicycle locks. After printing in PLA, this mount has withstood around six months of moderate use (daily commutes) without any issues.
