Bike light to rack adapter plate
thingiverse
The bike has a rack and a Planet Bike light with mounting hardware for the seat post. However, when mounted on the seat post, it's covered by the rack. Alternatively, it can be attached to the rack's support strut, but it becomes too low and often gets knocked out of alignment. To resolve this, an adapter is available for the bike light, which bolts onto the license plate fitting on the rack while still having a quick release feature. The OpenSCAD file has modular design, allowing reuse of mounting bracket and release lever for customized light mountings if you have a Planet Bike light set. To assemble, use two 7/32 or M5 nuts and bolts, with a lock washer for vibration security.
