Bike light mount, with quick release
thingiverse
Update 14.01.2017 If you're using softer materials that aren't strong enough for quick release and ability to pop up, we've got an update for you. I uploaded new versions with increased hinge distance - 0.5mm and 1mm. This results in a stronger locking mechanism, but it also increases the likelihood of breaking the clamp. Experimenting with different sizes might be the way to go, especially if you're working with PLA or PET-G. Keep in mind that even if the actual clamp inside diameter is smaller than the captured light, this problem can still occur. Update 25.02.2016 I've reinforced the hook, making it more difficult to disassemble but also more resistant to violence. Update 16.02.2016 I fixed the vulnerability of the connector base and tested the operation - everything works perfectly. However, I'm not satisfied with the quality of light provided by the average lamp at a normal price. So, I opted for a cheap yet reliable Chinese LED lamp and plan to add a convenient mounting bracket. Both clamps will have an approximate diameter of 25.4mm (1 inch). Material: PLA. Nozzle: 0.4 mm. Layer: 0.2mm. Speed: 30-50mm/s. Wall thickness: 1.2 mm. Cooling and support are highly recommended. Hinges require a significant amount of breaking strength, but they can withstand it without any issues. Hooks should be separated carefully, as this is their weak point. To assemble the parts, you'll need an M3 8mm nut and bolt, as well as an M3 12-16mm nut and bolt.
